So, when asked if she feels the ending of the film dulls down the hope of change, the actress said, “Honestly, I admit I wanted Sherni’s ending to be more hopeful. But I understood why the director, Amit (Masurkar) gave an ending like this as he wanted to bring focus to how people who are sincere and put in there all some times end up not being appreciated. However, I am a total optimist and I took out the positivity in that. I felt that when my characters is transferred, I felt that she will still do good work there and put in her all and come out victorious, maybe she might be sent back to the jungle too and at that time she’ll be more appreciated. The line which goes like Chahe jitna bhi ghana jungle ho, sherni raasta doondh hi leti hai, sums it up for me.”
