I don’t know how to get ahold of it anymore, but there was this neat little program called e-Tools Character and Monster Generator by a company Code Monkey Publishing. It was originally distributed with the 3rd edition PHB, so the cd might be up for sale somewhere. It was then updated up to rather late 3.5 content.
